Natalie

No nonsense Natalie and her 10-year-old son, Danny, have been through the grinder in this life. Living 7 miles outside of town, Natalie and Danny keep to themselves. Now divorced from Scott, the abusive, narcissistic Sheriff in town, Natalie struggles to make ends meet. Her biggest concern in this life is protecting her son Danny. The last straw for Natalie’s marriage to Scott, who is not Danny’s biological father, was after a beating Scott gave Danny leaving him with mild brain damage. These days a loaded shotgun is never far from Natalie’s reach, but that doesn’t seem to stop Scott from harassing and playing cat & mouse with them. When he’s not protecting his Mom, Danny is lost in his used comic-book collection where he can always be the hero.

Danny

Natalie’s 10-year-old son, Danny is Our Hero! Though Danny has slight brain damage he functions to the unknown eye as normal and maybe shy. His love for his Mom is priority one and he spends the rest of his time lost in his comic books where he can always be the hero.

Mike

Mike (Detective Kyle) goes undercover to bust a ring of bank robbers. He gets in deep with them and finds himself in the middle of a robbery where a bank employee is killed. After they flee the scene, a confrontation occurs in the car with Mike and the two main robbers. Shots ring out on this desolate road in the Catskills Forest of Upstate New York leading to a major crash. Both bank robbers are killed in the crash and Mike is left with a bullet wound and full memory loss. After escaping the wreck, he retrieves the duffle bag of money and disappears into the woods, eventually coming upon Natalie & Danny’s rundown house on the outskirts of the woods.

Sheriff Scott

Sheriff Scott is the real antagonist in this film. He runs the small town however he chooses. The Sheriff was married to Natalie for a brief time. Danny is not his biological son, but Danny’s slight brain damage came from a beating by Sheriff Scott. The Sheriff continues to taunt Natalie and her son, because he can.

Jack

FBI agent and partner to Mike (aka Detective Kyle).

Pamela

Pamela is the cashier at the local grocery store. She is also the only friend Natalie can count on.

Grace

Wife of Mike, aka Detective Kyle.

Driver

Works with Jack on the case.
