We're confident that our movie "FrAgMenTed" will have domestic and international appeal among fans of independent cinema. History has proven that mainstream success often follows when an indie film gets word of mouth. Our story has all of the elements of suspenseful thrillers like MEMENTO, OUT OF TIME, UNLAWFUL ENTRY, THE TOWN, and INTERNAL AFFAIRS, with enough twists to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

Our heroine NATALIE KING is akin to Madeleine Stowe's Karen Carr from “Unlawful Entry”, Eva Mendes’s Alex from “Out of Time” and Susan Sarandon’s Louise from - strong, beautiful, and smart. A character that will surely draw audiences in and have them cheering for her throughout. NATALIE’S bond with her ten-year-old son DANNY adds an emotional layer as a momma bear will do whatever it takes to protect her own.

The Psychotic Sheriff SCOTT GIBSON evokes terrifying memories of Ray Liotta's Officer Pete Davis in “Unlawful Entry” and Richard Gere’s Officer Dennis Peck in “Internal Affairs”. As the FBI draws near we have the TICKING CLOCK with Denzel Washington’s “Out of Time”.

Finally, Bank Robber MIKE BLACK struggles with memory loss after a near-fatal accident. Fans of "Memento" will spot the resemblance here but be pleasantly surprised that he stands apart as his own distinct character. 

NATALIE and MIKE’s relationship brings the heat of Raymond Avila's (Andy Garcia) and his wife Kathleen's (Nancy Travis) on-screen romance in "Internal Affairs".

And to cap it off, an intense bank robbery reminiscent of "THE TOWN" rounds out our story.

"FrAgMenTed" has found many of its main locations in the same Upstate, New York region, within 90 minutes to 2 hours away from Manhattan. Our connections in this area are strong since one of our producers was raised here and was a local sports hero. Unlike most films that come into an area and the locals find it disruptive, many will welcome us with open arms. This will work greatly to our advantage, allowing us to create a film reflected in the locations, scenery, cinematography, and production design that will fit our budget. Our half-day round trip to Manhattan assures us the schedule will not be slowed down by any equipment and/or gear issues if they are needed.
